Hi Todd, thanks for the comment. This was a really challenging set, I'm used to being able to move around when I shoot (even if in a packed crowd), so being forced to stay in one position for the first three really limited my compositions. The lighting was typical for Webster Hall, which I know you have experience with... =0

Despite the fact that Crystal Castles set was strobe-hell, I think the two that I got are decent shots regardless of the shooting conditions.

You are correct. Matt, the shooter for Pitchfork was to crammed into a spot to my left. As it turns out, Matt is a great guy. We got along so well that Sarah and I ended up going out for tapas with Matt and his friend Keira after the show.

Chris, this is a solid set for what looks to have been a challenging set. Strobe lights are certainly no friend to the photographer. Good call on gaining elevation after the first three, I think that produced some compelling shots of Emily Haines.

Looks like <a href="http://www.pitchforkmedia.com/article/news/45826-photos-metric-crystal-castles-new-york-ny-092107" rel="nofollow">this guy</a> was a little to your left.

Hardwire? They've never played this song live in recent years, as far as I know. Someone else posted the setlist as: Freddy Mercury, Twilight, Poster of a Girl, Dead Disco, Joyride, Empty, Standing in Line, Hustle Rose Combat Baby, Hooks, Handshakes, Rock Me Now, Monster Hospital, Stadium Love.
