Hi Chris,
I was discussing lenses for concert shooting on a forum, and some people suggested I ask you. What sizes of lenses do you find most useful for shooting larger arenas. I've been shooting small venues and dive bars and looking to step things up to a higher level.

Thanks!

yes! good marketing/branding is essential to performing arts. it seems that the way classical music is put out there isolates the genre from other things people enjoy on a regular basis. people just need to be exposed to it, sort of like the way they would be exposed to a new product. i think classical music needs to be promoted that shows it is still alive in the present, not just something we're trying to preserve from the past.

congrats, chris! years ago when you were tinkering with your technique and geeking out over equipment i totally knew you'd soon be killing it style-wise. i kinda feel like if someone put a soundtrack of the music from the shows you shoot, it'd be the next best thing to actually being at the show. good work!
