Performing a rock’n'roll cornucopia that spanned the breadth of his illustrious career as frontman for Soundgarden, Audioslave, and his two solo releases, Chris Cornell rocked the Verizon Wireless Ampitheather at Projekt Revolution, Saint Louis.
Even without the driving riffs of Kim Thayil or Tom Morello behind it, Cornell’s raspy wail was an in-your-face reminder as to why he is considered one of the most iconic frontmen of the past three decades.

PHOTOGRAPHER’S NOTES
It was a personal pleasured to finally hear Chris Cornell live. It didn’t take more than a few bars of Spoonman to take me right back to the years I spent wearing flannel shirts, combat boots and a huge wallet chain.
As for actually shooting the show, the most challenging part was keeping up with Cornell as he worked the crowd. The lighting was decent and even throughout the first three songs.
