I took a few days off planning my wedding (yes, it’s in a few days) and caught up with my brother Todd for a insane day of band portraits at Warped Tour. As you can see, TAT was one of our favorite bands to work with.
The Owyoung Brothers knocked out a bunch of portraits for you, including exclusive shoots with Escape The Fate, Single File, Big D and the Kids Table, After Midnight Project, Forever the Sickest Kids, TV/TV, We the Kings, Scary Kids Scaring Kids, and more. Stay tuned!
Lighting Info
Todd and I rocked between three and six Nikon speedlights all day long. With the exception of one 15″ softbox, the speedlights were fired bare. Eat your heart out Joe McNally, this was straight up Nikon CLS at it’s best.

No Andrew. I’m getting married in 8 days and I’ve been too busy to update the site or do much writing. If you have specific questions, you can always email me and I’ll try and shoot you back a quick answer.
No problems with the AB setup – but combined with the heat, yes. Hauling it (30+ lbs along with boom stand) by myself was very strenuous. I love the lighting it produces, but without an assistant was pretty damn difficult. It’s times like that when I wish I had CLS with me.
