With day one of The Bamboozle music festival behind me, I grabbed a couple hours of sleep, a fist full or cliff bars and headed out to the final day of parking lot punk rock. The Sunday’s lineup featured Weezer, MGMT, Girltalk, MUTEMATH, and NYC’s own Matt & Kim. Here’s a taste of day two.

Damn dude, Awesome work/play, whatever ya wanna call it.
That Say Anything shot is definitely the winner for me.
I love seeing all the different perspectives between you & your brother’s shots at the same event. I gotta comment on the fact that its frickin incredible that you can capture the energy of the pit at a metal show and then go and shoot a shiny-happy festival with the same fantastic results.
One thing I’ve been meaning to ask for a while: How hard is it for you to make the decision to shoot a show (and kinda be working) as opposed to being in the audience and letting loose? I love shooting/covering shows but at the same time I kinda just like going nuts, seeing that I’m a fan too. Do you ever feel torn about it? Its actually painful for me not to jump in the pit. But vice-a-versa as well. When I’m in the pit I wish I had my camera.
I’d love to hear your thoughts.
