I consider myself lucky whenever I’ve got a camera in my hands. That I’m able to photograph some of the most talented artists of our time and (even) get paid to do it is a huge blessing. And on some nights, I downright love every second of my work. These photos of Clint Mansell performing at The Church of Saint Paul the Apostle were the result of one of those nights.
You may not know Clint by name, but you’ve probably been moved by his work – he’s the genius behind the music for Requiem for a Dream, Black Swan and The Fountain. This concert for Wordless Music was Clint’s first ever live performance in New York City.
If you like a good cry as much as I do, listen to the recording of the show.
